Translation Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Translation Business Development Manager to join Stepes’ fast-growing global team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise sales, be a hunter type with a proactive approach, and have a results-oriented mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow our translation services business.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the enterprise market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest localization industry trends and translation technology solutions
  • Articulate our translation service offerings and effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement lead-generation campaigns
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals
  • Provide ongoing account management to retain and grow existing business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge of the latest localization industry trends and modern translation technology solutions
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
