We’re looking for an experienced UX designer to enhance Stepes’ fast-growing cloud translation management system. The UX designer is responsible for designing intuitive and user-centered interfaces for our next-gen, AI-powered translation management platform. The ideal candiate must have a deep understanding of the needs of both translators and clients, as well as the technology behind cloud systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and goals for streamlined language translation services
- Designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for the platform using CSS, Javascript, HTML, and other UX development methologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, translators, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the design meets business goals
- Conducting user testing to validate design decisions and ensure that the interface is user-friendly and effective
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in UX design and cloud technology.
The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio that demonstrates their experience in UX design, especially for cloud-based software, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, they should have proficient knowledge of CSS, Javascript, and HTML programming and be familiar with Bootstrap, React, and Angular development frameworks. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field is preferred. Strong experience with Bootstrap, React, and Angular is highly preferred.
